About Us Connecting the dots - Climate. Capital. Community. Code. We are Darukaa.Earth — a category-defining nature-tech & climate finance company.
Incubated at the IIT Bombay campus and backed by IIM Visakhapatnam, we’re building Global South’s first intelligence layer for natural capital — where technology, ecology, and finance converge to create measurable, investable biodiversity impact. Our offerings & platform transforms biodiversity and carbon data into actionable, finance-grade intelligence, enabling TNFD, CSRD, and SBTN-aligned insights for companies, investors, and project developers. We have entered an inflection point — scaling from flagship pilots to enterprise deployments — and we’re hiring a Founder’s Office Associate Intern who can help scale our climate mission into market momentum.
Our Value chains include:
- Environmental reporting
- Turnkey projects for Biodiversity mapping & Nature conservation.
- Nature Finance projects
Why This Internship Is Special
This is not a conventional internship.
You’ll get:
- A front-row seat to founder-level decision-making
- Exposure to strategy, partnerships, fundraising, and market-building
- Hands-on ownership of real outputs that shape company direction
This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how a climate-tech company is built from the inside, not just observe from the sidelines.
What We Offer
- An early leadership role in one of the most promising frontiers — Nature & Biodiversity Finance
- Performance-linked incentive
- The opportunity to build and lead partnership pipelines and early commercial wins from inception
- A seat at the table in global climate-innovation ecosystems, think-tanks, accelerators, and with investors
- A purpose-driven, collaborative environment that values creativity, integrity, and measurable impact.
Your Role & Responsibilities

- Assist in developing strategy notes, internal briefs, and decision memos
- Assist founders with presentations, proposals, decks, and outreach material
- Benchmark peers, competitors, and emerging models (MRV, credits, disclosures, finance structures)
- Support in partnership outreach with key stakeholders.
Partnerships & Business Development Support
- Take ownership of operational BD tasks to reduce the Founder’s involvement in routine activities, enabling focus on strategic decisions.
- Help identify & research potential partners: corporates, NGOs, project developers, funds, accelerators
- Maintain & update CRM/data sheets to track business development activities and outcomes.
- Conduct market and client research to identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and leads.
- Support preparation for introductory calls, pilots, and partnership discussions
- Represent the organization (alongside or independently) at relevant events, conferences, and networking forums
Special Projects

- Support fundraising, accelerator, or grant-related research and documentation where required
Ideal Intern Profile
- We’re looking for a high-potential builder and collaborator who is eager to learn and contribute at the intersection of strategy, climate, and nature innovation.
- Undergraduate or postgraduate student (pre-final or final year preferred), or recent graduate with a strong interest in climate, sustainability, or impact-driven businesses
- Freshers with strong aptitude are welcome; prior experience in business development, consulting, or founder’s office roles is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to think structurally and analytically, through coursework, projects, internships, or leadership roles
- Exposure to strategy, consulting, business analysis, sustainability, or product roles is a plus (through internships, projects, or academic work)
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in early-stage, fast-moving environments
- Comfortable working in a digital-first environment able to effectively leverage online tools, platforms, and resources to drive outcomes and solve problems independently
- Good presentation and storytelling ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support research, presentations, and internal strategy discussions
